Competent Crew Course

Competent Crew is the entry-level course for those who wish to be active crew members of a sailing yacht.It is a hands-on course and by the end of the course participants should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day-to-day duties on board.

No pre-course knowledge or experience are assumed. The minimum duration of the course is 5 days. It may be run over 5 days or over 3 weekends or 3 days plus a weekend. For those who have done the Start Yachting course, this course can be completed in 3 or 4 days. There is no minimum age.

Course content Knowledge of sea terms and parts of a boat, sail handling, ropework, fire precautions and fighting, personal safety equipment, man overboard, emergency equipment, meteorology, seasickness, helmsmanship, general duties, manners and customs, rules of the road, dinghies.

稱職水手

這是一門入門課程，提供希望能成為帆船遊艇稱職水手的人參加，是一門動手實務課程，學員在課程結束時應能夠駕駛，操縱帆，保持海上警戒，運用小艇並協助船上的所有日常工作。

不需要特定的學前知識或經驗。課程的最短持續時間為5天。它可以是5天或3個週末或3天加上一個週末。對於完成“start yachting”課程的學員，此課程可以在3或4天內完成。沒有最低年齡限制。

課程內容

• 了解海上術語和船舶零件、帆的處理、繩索、防火與火災預防與處理

• 個人安全設備、人員落水救援、應急設備、暈船因應

• 氣象學

• 舵手、一般職責

• 船上舉止和禮節、海上規則

• 小艇操作。

課程時間

2019年12月-2021年2月

週五班：每月1.3週 週五上課 週六班：每月1.3週 週六上課 週日班：每月1.3週 週日上課

上課時間：08:30-17:00 （合計6日 100NMs)

非會員費用：新台幣25000元/每位
